Wargame is not any kind of reality simulation; it’s a test of different military commanding systems. Initial parameters, as well as results, can be quite different from reality. I don’t see any reason to „dismiss“ or even discuss them. The real results are the conclusions about the state of HQs involved in the wargame.

Wargames have different purposes. Some are supposed to create a somewhat plausible scenario in which troops can gain experience with their workflows and equipment, some are meant to train command staff in a worst case condition, others are trying to figure out what the possible options are given current staffing and equipment levels. I’m reading this one as more of a warning towards politicians: this is what may happen if you hesitate.
