  1. New study sheds light on how going braless alters public perceptions of a woman

A recent study published in Frontiers in Psychology suggests that a woman’s decision to wear a bra involves a strategic trade-off between signaling physical attractiveness and avoiding negative social judgments. Scientists found that while going braless tends to be viewed as highly attractive by both men and women, it also provides evidence of being perceived as a sign of sexual availability. This perception of availability appears to increase the fear of harassment among women, shaping their daily clothing choices.

Makes sense. Something about human evolution and how humans began to have hidden ovulation/pregnancy which caused human women to have prominent breasts even when not pregnant caused an adaptation to make us find breasts attractive. Rarely seeing them causes a stronger reaction when they are seen.

We really have become largely very puritanical and it’s a bummer.

    – To explore these dynamics, the researchers recruited 686 heterosexual adults from Slovakia. The sample included 409 women and 277 men, with an average age of about 35 years. The scientists used social networking sites to distribute their survey and asked participants to invite their acquaintances to join.

Seems like a pretty big leap to generalize all human behavior by only analyzing straight people from a single country.

Maybe it’s the way I dress but I legit don’t think anyone ever notices whether I’m wearing a bra or not and I’m defibrillator not small chested

Whaaat?? Well now we know. The things science can tell us about human beings.. it’s fascinating.

  7. That’s when you check the facial expressions for confirmation. Sometimes it’s availability… Sometimes she just doesn’t give a #@$& anymore.

I’ve casually told people in conversation that I don’t wear underwear if I’m not at work and they take it the same way. I’m just trying to be comfortable.

I don’t think men understand how uncomfortable bras are.

I have tried dozens of different models and have had multiple professional fittings and I still loathe them.

I’m commando most of the time, so I’m always ready to shag babbyyy

  11. I think details on boobie size *matters* here. It can look chic and sexy for a woman with small, perky tatas; but it can look terrifying and indecent if you got big ole bazonkahonkers.

That being said, my favorite commentary on the subject is when SubwayTakes interviewed Ms Pat, who brought up her dislike of bras:

„they’re very uncomfortable…we want our stuff to hang, like your balls. So I think they should get rid of bras and we all freeball it, and let nipples do what they wanna do.“ (enthusiastic cheers from the crowd)

I stare at women and check them out all the time. Never once have I noticed if a woman is “braless” or not.

Jfc people. It’s ok for people to look like they do. God forbid someone looks like they do.

  14. I find breasts highly appealing. They’re pretty damn great and the fewer layers between them and me the better.

What people do in public with them is absolutely none of my business though, and I do not form opinions on peoples sexual availability from whether they wear a bra or not. Maybe I am an outlier? But it seems silly to form an opinion as complex as a strangers sexual availability on their bra alone.

I’m in my late 60’s and go braless all the time now! Guess the men are just drooling silently over my 38 longs!!
