What does „believe“ mean in a society where everyone is a full-time professional non-believer in anything?

Sure, Putin’s followers don’t believe his war propaganda. They also don’t not believe it. That’s how this Orwellian shit works. It’s how it’s always worked.

What matters is what they do.

What matters for all of us is what we do.
