Ich wurde beauftragt, einige Gemälde im Zoo/Vergnügungspark Dyreparken in Kristiansand, Norwegen, zu restaurieren. Das sind Figuren aus Kinderbüchern. Er wurde zwischen 1949 und 1950 gegründet und ist in den nordischen Ländern ein sehr bekannter Schriftsteller, dessen Geschichten Kinder bis heute beeinflussen. Da ich aus Portugal komme, bin ich nicht damit aufgewachsen, aber es war eine wirklich erstaunliche Erfahrung, es kürzlich zu entdecken und ein Teil davon zu sein.

These are characthers and illustrations made by Thorbjørn Egner as you did not mention him by name. Almost all kids have grown up with these in Norway.
These drawings are from „Klatremus og de andre dyrene i Hakkebakkeskogen“ published 1953 and „Folk og røvere i Kardemomme by“ published 1955, both written and illustrated by Thorbjørn Egner.
They’re a treasure, my kids love both books and we read them all the time.
The show on the train there is (was at least) actually really good. If i remember correctly its a lot of music so you should be able to enjoy it. And the plot is not super complex haha.
