Ich habe mehrere Tischler gebeten, mir einen Kleiderschrank zu bauen, und sie haben mir ein Angebot gemacht (alle haben einen ähnlichen Preis von etwa 8000-9000 PLN), mit Vertrag, und später haben sie klargestellt, dass es sich dabei um keine Rechnung, sondern um eine Quittung handelt. Ansonsten muss ich 23 % hinzufügen. Wie hoch ist also mein Risiko, wenn ich einen Gesamtvertrag mit ihm abschließe, wenn er über ein Dokument mit seiner Unterschrift verfügt, dass er das Geld erhält, oder wenn es auf sein Bankkonto überwiesen wird?
Sollte es nicht auch ihre Pflicht sein, eine Rechnung auszustellen? Ich habe auch mit Bauunternehmern im Rahmen von Verträgen zusammengearbeitet. Einige erhielten meine Zahlung per Banküberweisung, stellten aber später nie eine Rechnung aus.
Off-Topic: Ich habe auch außerhalb der Stadt wirklich günstige Tischler gefunden, aber die Wartezeit ist normalerweise länger und ich habe Bedenken hinsichtlich der Zuverlässigkeit.

Whenever you wonder why your taxes are so high, just look at this post
It is their obligation to give you an invoice if you ask for it. Otherwise they may just pass it to their accountant if you pay via a bank transfer. Most take cash only though, so no invoice.
Everyone wants:
* good highways
* high speed rail
* nuclear power plant
* great healthcare
* great education
* strong and well equipped army
But no one wants to pay taxes to pay for this
So what is *probably* going on here is they are offering you to this as a business service (invoice) or as a private contractor through Umowa o Dzieło. The tax rate differs but also your obligations change. If you buy a service from a business its just that, if you employ a contractor you have certain obligations towards them.
Always get an invoice. It is more expensive, true, but you have a proof they did it and have to take responsibility if the build quality is shitty
There’s a difference between invoice (faktura) and recipe (rachunek). If You have signed contract and can have recipe, go for it. It’s confirmation that you made the payment.
If you need to have your name on it, faktura is the only way. Taxes are paid both from faktura and rachunek. Just don’t pay without any confirmation.
Also make protokół zdawczo odbiorczy as a confirmation of job done.
If there is any risk of defects in the finished product, you would be wise to not only get an invoice but also write down and agree the scope of works and warranty details before they stary. If it’s a high end piece of joinery, it’s advisable to do it properly.
If you don’t need an invoice don’t demand it.
