I thought that Starlink introduced a speed restriction on use, which will prevent Starlink from operating on any arial drone because they go too fast. This doesn’t entail any authentication or verification changes. Of course, this would prevent Ukraine from using Starlink’s on UAVs too.
I don’t see how having a Ukrainian registry of Starlink terminals is going to help with anything. Unless Starlink is on-board with using this registry to restrict terminal access in Ukraine and Russia then just having a list is pretty useless. This article doesn’t mention that this registry is something Starlink has agreed to use.
