Every single day is another absurdity and US humiliation.

At this point there is so many different versions of these proposals that I have no idea which version Putin is referring to.

Putin cannot accept any peace deal without losing grip on power. He is 100% committed to see this through since he knows the consequences would be deadly for him. Even if all parties accepted the original 28 point peace agreement, Russia would have only gained a quarter of Ukraine after almost 4 years of fighting after catastrophic losses. This would be unacceptable to the oligarchs, military, FSB, and Russian people.
