17 Südkoreaner wurden in Kambodscha bei gemeinsamer Razzia gegen No-Show-Betrugsring festgenommen

So Korean scammers targetting Koreans in Cambodia were arrested for… pretending to be Cambodian government officials and directing Korean businessmen in Cambodia to fake suppliers who would not deliver the goods after receiving money.

This seems stupid and low hanging fruit. Modern tech would lead you to the culprits very quickly especially at the kind of events these guys would have to prowl to pull this off. There’s no way for this to work for a reasonable length of time.
