      Trump has made it totally clear that as soon as he thinks somebody will follow the order he plans to do to Canada what Russia did to Ukraine. He made it clear that tariffs on Canada were to soften them up for annexation. Exactly how much more harsh can you be in your communications?

      If the United States makes it out of the next few years intact, and/or without serious permanent damage to the rule of law and democratic institutions, these people really need to be ostracized from public life, at the very least. Some of the shit they’re doing just seems straight up illegal. No way I’ll cross that border any time soon.

      He’s a lovely reminder of why we cannot reduce on our boycott of American travel and US products. While I would love to go visit and see some dear friends south of the border, these individuals in power who just don’t understand why we are upset (or refuse to believe it) serve to remind me why each stance against matters.

      Let us be clear… The Avro Arrow cancellation had everything to do with the US defense industry wanting to sell Canada fighter jets and the US government made guarantees to Canada that they have now gone back on.
