The trump shutdown you mean, but like ted cruz, when theres trouble, he flees the country. Seems to be a pattern with rightwing cowards.

Dems chose the wrong time to play hardball.
The house Democrats should rent a space in DC and start making speech after speech saying the house should be open, they want to work, and how we can open the government.
ATC is waking up today to an empty paycheck. Will today be the day they realize this shit is not worth it and call in sick?
Between their wallets getting tighter and overall prices for everything going higher, the panic will start to set in this week for a nonzero number of ATC employees
Just here to make sure there’s plenty of voices out there telling the democrats to hold strong. I am a federal employee, I missed this paycheck, it sucks, but the republicans are not acting in good faith and they need to not just give in.
We are too far in and until republicans actually come to the negotiating table, then this is 100% on them.
If the Democrats give in, everything they’ve fought for will have been wasted. If Trump refuses to authorize SNAP aid, it will only make him look even more of a monster, and the people who will suffer most are his own supporters. Many MAGA voters won’t be so pleased when they can’t put food on the table for their families. It’s disturbing that it’s come to this, and it’s hard to see this ending well for the right.

This is unbelievably misleading and partisan crap on every single .gov website. When will Trump get off the campaign trail and start leading this god damned country?
SNAP benefits are not going out; it’s getting colder. People are going to die. And the Republican Party refuses to negotiate in good faith about this budget. Go to work god damn it and stop trying to win points.
