We’re basically Bartertown now with Trump being Tina Turner’s character.

    2. For the second time since 2018-2019, the government has shut down with Trump and the Republican being in control of all 3 branches of government.

Last time, it took air traffic controllers calling out and air travel shutting down to bring Trump to his knees, so let’s see how long this one will last for.

    3. Imagine living in a day and age where you control all 3 branches and still weaponize the shutdown

Last Trump/Republican shutdown cost us $5 Billion over 35 days, and a drop in our credit rating. That’s 25 White House ballrooms, or half a border wall.

lol 😂 Epstein list. Trumps America. Every branch of government is run by republicans currently. They are choosing to shut it down and steal tax dollars.

Would just like to point out that the last time Australia had a political deadlock that could’ve resulted in services not getting funding, and public servants not being paid, the PM got sacked by the Governor-General (Monarch’s representative) for planning to hold an election without having the supply bills passed by Parliament to ensure public servants were paid.

In a stunning display of leadership skills, Donald Trump has earned his 3rd federal shutdown. The economic damage of his first one is still unknown, and his second cost the US $5bil.

Republicans cannot govern; being proper leaders runs contrary to their goals and as a result the country must suffer their failures.

    8. Hey, key personnel. You know who you are. Now is the time for a strike. Put up the assist early to force the TACO to negotiate.

That’s a nice airport you have there.

Be a shame if no air traffic controllers came to work…

    9. Never forget that it took air traffic controllers calling out and air travel shutting down to bring Trump to his knees.

Simply shut down air travel for just one day and you’ll see the shutdown end in minutes.

    10. I know shutdown isn’t good in a governing sense but is this a dem win or a gop win?

I do have a small fear that with Dem leadership being how it is right now that public opinion will shift against them. Republicans can straight up lie with barely a whimper from media nowadays, and low-info voters eat that shit up.
