      I wouldn’t have guessed that Algeria is more developed than Morocco. Particularly when you consider the high-speed rail network and them hosting international events more regularly.

It’s always such a shock how bolivians and venezuelans who migrate to Chile/Uruguay perceive there’s a huge difference in development between theirs and our country, I’ve never been to their countries, but I always hear them praise Chile/Uruguay’s infrastructure, technology, even their visa benefits around the world, while me being Chilean I don’t really see what we have that much, even though I try.

      This map is fine, but if I had to choose between living in Sri Lanka or Turkmenistan versus Morocco or India, I think I would still prefer living in Morocco or India.

      Wait, my homeland of BiH is more developed than average? I mean, OK, I don’t know what metrics they used, but I also don’t want to know what’s life like in these undeveloped countries then.
