Picture gremlins. You’ve got mean gremlins that break everything (pathogenic Th17 cells) and calm gremlins that repair the damage (Tregs). We already knew helminth exposure shrinks the mean gremlin population and grows the calm one.

What we didn’t know: there’s also a magic wand that turns certain mean gremlins into calm ones, on the spot — the same individuals, literally switching sides.

This work in interleukin chains is giving me hope. Without inflectra I’ll die. With it I can function with about 80% of my health. But the cognitive load of the 20% or so of lost recovery has been a drag and locked me into a burnout.
