Why in the fuck would he want to resurrect this scandal? I can’t even believe this is 2026.

Good news. They are making sure that she can get a big chunk of that slush fund they are establishing for victims of political prosecution.

The obvious complete weaponization of the DOJ is just another reminder of what reforms need to be codified. The fact he’s even *able* to use the DOJ as his own personal attack/defend dog is just disgusting, and another example of how vulnerable our system was to someone that breaks all the rules.

    4. hamsterfolly on

What is weaponization of the DOJ? I’ll take Trump Projections for $800, Ken!

Historians have a word for Germans who joined the Nazi party, not because they hated Jews, but out of a hope for restored patriotism, or a sense of economic anxiety, or a hope to preserve their religious values, or dislike of their opponents, or raw political opportunism, or convenience, or ignorance, or greed.

That word is „Nazi.“ Nobody cares about their motives anymore.

They joined what they joined. They lent their support and their moral approval. And, in so doing, they bound themselves to everything that came after. Who cares any more what particular knot they used in the binding?

The whole government is being weaponized against the American people. This is only going to end with a lot of violence. We are being slaughtered by the government. It is time the people in charge start feeling some of the pain.

    7. This is simply AWFUL! Harassing the victim, stress, financially, personally, is there no end to evilness?!

    8. _Miss_Eclipse on

Which will go precisely nowhere. These people are not living in reality. Here in reality, Donald Trump is a pedophile and an adjudicated rapist

    9. Even if the President cannot be arrested according to the Supreme Court, giving him absolute immunity (absolutely insane); that immunity only applies to the President himself, personally — not the entire executive.

So Democrats should be making lists of people that are following these illegal orders and they should be subject to prosecution.

    10. whycantigetwhatiwant on

She’s not an accuser. The accusations were found to be true and he’s been adjudicated to have done the things she “accused” him of.

    11. Interesting-Potato-6 on

Trump will fall. He will go into history as the greatest shame and failure of the American political system. His government will also go into history as a disgusting example of unbridled corruption and greed. The day cannot come soon enough!

    12. This has already been settled in court. So funny. Now she can tap some cash from the new fund.

    13. Wasn’t Trump literally ordered by a court to stop saying she lied because it was harassment?

I mean, not that any of that matters for him. He never faces consequences. Add it to the pile I guess

    14. Known_Leek8997 on

She’s not an “accuser”. They found him guilty that would make her a “victim”.

    15. The definition of criminal in the United States has turned into “anybody who has or is thinking about going against Trump and his gang of goonies”

    16. Watchhistory on

Again and again and again and again and again.

      Epstein Files ain’t going away.

      thiefinchief still guilty.

So the man found liable for sexually abusing this woman is not only elected President TWICE but keeps appealing, so he doesn’t have to pay damages and is now having her investigated. This is how screwed up we are as a country, amongst many, many screwed up things.

    18. Trump is a rapist. Women, children, and (possibly?) men/boys. No amount of court cases with change that.

    19. Open_Mortgage_4645 on

This is beyond disgusting. Using the power of government to persecute Trump’s adjudicated rape victim is beyond the pale. This is truly a new low.

    20. Alarming_Head_4263 on

Republicans hate democracy and the justice system. Thanks both siders and leftists who decided both sides are the same. Your lack of courage is allowing trump to punish a woman he raped for daring to stand up to him.

    21. Some-Poetry8420 on

She’s not a „Trump accuser“ though, she’s a „Trump victim“, as has been proven already in a court of law.

    22. What are we doing here.

Seriously. What the fuck are we doing here.

      This is a personal trial.

Everything is expensive as fuck. We’re on the verge of a massive war. Civil right and liberties for everyone are just being erased.

      And we’re doing this.

      What are we doing.

    23. FearMeIAmRoot on

She’s not an accuser. She was a victim, and Donald Trump is a rapist. He raped her. That’s what the title should say. „Donald Trump Rape Victim E. Jean Carroll under criminal investigation by Donald Trump’s Justice Department“

    24. Calm_Chemist_4952 on

This is dangerous territory for justice department lawyers. Using threats of criminal action to discourage civil recovery raises serious ethical issues, and puts them in the potential position of having to face professional disciplinary charges.

    25. FuckinArrowToTheKnee on

She isn’t an accuser he was found guilty in that trial. Mainstream media again shows true colors

    26. scooterv1868 on

She is not accuser, she is a victim of a convicted rape/sexual assault perpetrated by the President.

    27. > „Justice“ Department launches an intimidation campaign against Trump victim E. Jean Carroll.

      Fixed that for you.
