A domestic draft beer (0.5l) costs 800 yen.
Meal at an inexpensive restaurant costs 1000 yen.
12 large sized eggs, is around 322 yen.
Yeah that 5000 yen would last about a week.
Electricity and gas are expensive partially because of yen depreciation. Printing more yen brings more yen depreciation, exacerbating the problem.
Takaichi is stuck in Abe guidebook written in a time where there was no inflation. Someone needs to send her a fax that times have changed
