A couple of days ago they said they weren’t even thinking of a supplementary budget.
What a suprise.
Borrowing more and more from the future to spend now. What could go wrong…
Good, my parents-in-law and my wife will be happy cause the less money our family spends on electricity and bills, the more money we spend on our daughter, my wife’s dresses, my games and vinyl records.
No one sane can be against this….
Unless you don’t live in JP and just bash Takaichi-san for no reason….
Amazing how this „japanese“ sub turns positive news into something negative…
Hey um. This isn’t good!
While this isn’t much it is going to impact inflation in negative ways.
They got caught lieing too hard yesterday and suddenly today free pennies. What a joke.
¥5,000? Like once?
Tf does that do for anyone?
“Hey your house is on fire. I can piss on it to help put it out! Don’t say I did nothing for you!”
$40 USD?
Gives me anxiety wtf
It’s a distraction.
This wasn’t gonna happen if the numerous scandals including lying on her resume weren’t blowing up and tanking her popularity
Looking at numbeo for some cost of living examples:
A domestic draft beer (0.5l) costs 800 yen.
Meal at an inexpensive restaurant costs 1000 yen.
12 large sized eggs, is around 322 yen.
Yeah that 5000 yen would last about a week.
Electricity and gas are expensive partially because of yen depreciation. Printing more yen brings more yen depreciation, exacerbating the problem.
Takaichi is stuck in Abe guidebook written in a time where there was no inflation. Someone needs to send her a fax that times have changed
How many of these will end up in a pachinko?
What a waste of money
What can we do to prepare for whatever is coming?
