      received a 12 page newspaper filled with some bangers. some other ones:

      – apparently not having pork served in schools and prisons is issue number 1 in the country, mentioned in multiple articles

      – the UDC/SVP is VERY worried about the ENVIRONMENTAL impact because of all the concrete we use to build housing for foreigners. gotta think about the environment!

      – But the real culprits why there is not enough appartments available are the asylum seekers of course

      – UDC/SVP is furthermore troubled with the fact that we will need to invest in our schools and public transportation systems. oh please no!

      – and finally of course we should not forget about ISLAM! which is the root of all swiss problems.

      honestly I was just going to trash it but decided to take a look and had a good laugh. can recommend

      You can be sarcastic all you want, but you could ridicule the same kind of brochure coming from the SP or the greens. Both left and right are pursuing their own ideological agenda without addressing the big topics/problems that we are all facing.

      I am myself a welcome family of a child (son of refugee with problems). We fulfill 100% of his needs and government gives us 1800 .- a month, that makes 21 600 a year all inclusive and we are not allowed to have the usual tax discount as if he was our child.

      Fuck that bullshit. They are insulting foreigners and, at the same time, people who try to make those children integrate as much as they can. And spoiler alert : it works !

      Nice of them to only charge childcare for one child, could have gone for the 7 digits.

      And it looks like they charge ome fulltime position for all the assistance they receive, just for this one family.

      The endless stream of idiotic campaigns coming from these morons is enraging. We keep squandering time and money reacting to these garbage ideas over and over which we should be spending on solving actual problems. Shame on these people.

      ~~Frais de placement…what kind of placement are they talking about? I assumed Kita/crèche but the 700chf/day figure is simply absurd, most cantons vary between 110 and 130.  And supposedly this kid gets placed in the most expensive care in the world 365 days per year???~~

      EDIT : so apparently this is about a family where one of the children was placed in foster care, hence the 250k figure, which is still very high, because this encompasses everything related to that particular case : psychological assessments, interventions, etc. A fringe case used as an example as if it was the norm.

      They are very active in Toggenburg.

      I once had a guy who gave me a tract with a Kagi Fret and a teabag included when going early to work at the bus station. They are very astute in finding what cater to people in their respective areas.

      We know it’s all bullshit, yet my Geminde votes at close to 50% for them.

      It was funny actually because I’m not a Swiss citizen, so I don’t have any power to go against this, but I’m mad about them using the Kägi Fret from Toggenburg to justify any of their program.

      It’s a weird position, I would like to have a talk with them about their (limited) traditionalist views, and how Lichtensteig used to be the capital of Toggenburg, that the [most famous mayor of Zürich](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudolf_St%C3%BCssi) died on a bridge because of a war of succession that involved Zürcher claims over it.

      But it’s not possible, they’re just populists who have very little interest about their own history but seek to use it just for their personal power.

      And sadly, the easiest way to do this is to give a free Kägi Fret.

      Voici une estimation pour une famille de 6 personnes (4 adultes/enfants majeurs + 2 enfants, par exemple) sur 1 an :

      Montant mensuel moyen : Environ 6 000 – 7 500 CHF pour la famille (montant très approximatif car il dépend des forfaits cantonaux et de la taille de la famille, qui réduit le coût par personne).

      Montant annuel : Entre 70 000 CHF et 90 000 CHF environ par an.Points clés à retenir :Logement et santé inclus : Ce montant couvre généralement le loyer, l’assurance maladie de base et les frais d’entretien (nourriture, vêtements).

      Réduction pour familles : Plus le ménage est grand, plus le forfait par personne est réduit.Différences cantonales : Les cantons versent des forfaits différents (forfaits globaux 1a et 1b).Obligations : Les réfugiés doivent utiliser cet argent pour leurs besoins de base et s’intégrer, sous peine de voir l’aide réduite
