Do you expect him to admit he willingly joined an enemy army when in captivity?

All of these POWs chose either a poor tricked student, cook, or labourer as their fake stories for joining the army.

They all know what they were getting into

This report [The Business of Despair – Investigations with Impact](https://alleyesonwagner.org/2026/02/11/the-business-of-despair/)

    States:

    >“INPACT identified several complementary recruitment tactics, including the use of travel agencies operating as logistical intermediaries, the involvement of local pro-Russian individuals and organisations, and recruitment networks based on co-optation, in which former recruits become recruiters themselves. *These schemes rely heavily on bogus job offers, promises of education or administrative regularisation, and irregular immigration channels.“*

Another report by the OSINT Accountability Project also states:

    >“It noted that recruits were often deceived through social media adverts and travel agencies offering discounted flights and work opportunities, only to be coerced into signing military contracts upon arrival.“

In less than one minute you can type into a search engine „what happens to foreigners who accept offers to work or study in Russia“ and read about the fate of all those other idiots.

The only people that would trust Russia are the ones who believe Russia’s stupid lies and ignore our truths. No sympathy for people that consider Russia a trustworthy friend.
