      The mental fortitude and steel of nerve it must take to press forward on a drone control when someone is on their knees begging is something I cannot imagine. I truly hope these brave warriors can recover mentally and emotionally when this is all over.

      Edit: to those replying that it’s easy for them to do and what the Russians/mercenaries have done mean they deserve it, of course. My concern isn’t for the invaders, but the defenders and the PTSD the Ukrainian forces are going through/will go through.

      A shame. This guy could have lived but instead he chose to die for a dictator who doesn’t even care about him.

      No mercy – there is no reason to take them as POWs, as Russia does not exchange them for imprisoned Ukrainians. Therefore, for Ukraine it is useful to make an example of all of them, so others understand that coming to Ukraine is a bad idea.

      Also, it is too late to beg for mercy when the bullet is already on its way. If you want mercy, raise the white flag before a shot is fired in your direction. You cannot surrender to a drone. Raise a white flag and follow directions toward Ukrainian positions.

      I honestly feel bad for these guys. Don’t see how Ukraine can do anything differently, but these people are being exploited by Vlad.
