The sources said including the Lebanon ceasefire file in the Iranian response was one of Tehran’s red lines in the negotiations. I mean, why the fuck are they talking about Lebanon unless it is to protect their terrorist milita hezbollah? Why would this be agreed to?
2. “The Iranian response also stressed the lifting of US sanctions and the release of frozen Iranian funds, the sources said.”
Why the fuck would the US agree to this, when they will use the funds to perform terrorism like they have done, and further murder their own population, like they have done.
3. “Tehran also demanded the cancellation of OFAC restrictions related to Iranian oil sales, according to the report.”
The whole point is economic crippling to break down the regime. Oil sales are the regime’s lifeblood. A third of it goes towards their state media which is then distributed globally into radicalisation centres to promote islamic terror.
4. “The sources said the Iranian response stipulated Iranian management of the Strait of Hormuz under the proposed understandings.”
This is also an unrealistic thing. They want the ability to hold the world economy hostage as a clause for the proposal.
5. “The proposed agreement includes 30 days of negotiations after the war is stopped to discuss details, the sources said.”
That’s 30 days for them to come up with contingency powers to cling to control so they can further brutalise and murder the innocent population they keep hostage and violently subjugate.

Trump keeps trash talking the 2015 Obama nuclear deal which called for Iran to stop uranium enrichment for 15 years, but then offers a deal where Iran has to stop enrichment for 20 years. He basically offered Iran the same deal.
The BEST case is Trump gets back into the same deal as the JCPOA and takes credit for it, but it will never happen. Iran has zero reason to trust the US and Trump least of all.
Its UNREAL that Republicans allowed this to happen. They should have impeached and convicted his ass the moment the first bomb dropped.
If you go back and look at articles posted since the cease fire, it’s always toward end of week/ weekend when this shit U.S. published. The whole thing is a fucking game for president Narrcy. Fulfilling his deep, narcissistic feelings toward others.
1.) Announce negotiations to drive the price of oil down
2.) Both sides risk the ceasefire by having small skirmishes
3.) Make social media post rejecting the negotiations in a grandiose way to drive the price of oil back up

Didn’t the Oil CEOs ask him to keep rejecting any deal as the are currently shuffling dollars into their pockets?
This is not surprising at all. We are not even close to the amount of negotiation that needs to happen for anything resembling a cease fire. Realistically these negotiation happen on the time span of years. not weeks. The Obama deal, the deal trump tore up like it was nothing, took 30 month to negotiate. So the idea that we can have a cease fire, even if both side wants one, in weeks is nonsensical.
They can’t even figure out how to agree on a 1 page memorandum on what to talk about in the future.
Iran is not stupid. They see the poll numbers, Republican is gonna lose the midterms, or they would have to rig it so egregiously, it would trigger mass unrest if not a civil war. Either way, US is gonna have way bigger things to worry about in a couple of month. In fact keeping oil prices high is a key factor in that unravelling of American democracy. So they have no incentive to go to the table. Iran think it might actually out last America itself, and they might be right.

Trump avoids giving details so he safely settle on the Obama deal
Sadly this puts the world in a really bad place because Trump does not want to surrender, Iran doesn’t want to surrender and will world bleeds because of it. The only way US will take a surrender deal if Congress forces him to, and that leaves, Congress or the people voted for it holding the bag. I don’t think no congressman is willing to take that risk/liability because their opponent will use that agains them in the next election.
Obviously going to reject it. The market is closed.
Maybe just send Iran the old Obama deal and see if they will go for it
