      People need to stop dreaming about this scenario, the rules and law for a country to join EU are very strict and clear, and these things take **years.**

      Ukraine would/should become part of the SDP (Security and Defence Pacts)- the EU’s mutual defence agreement in Concert with other non-EU countries (like UK and Canada)

      As long as this was part of the agreement.
