So wait the UK won’t appear in maps about Europe because of Brexit despite being geographically sound but this is ok?

Though the population of the island has more or less reached pre famine levels once again, the population is a lot more concentrated in Dublin and other urban centres. I am from Leitrim and it’s population was over 150,000 before the famine and is 30,000 today.

I often underestimate the population weight of Northern Ireland within the island. If there were to be a United Ireland it would take a ton of effort to balance the country, Protestant parties would have a huge impact on Irish politics and so on

If Irish schools didn’t teach percentages, how would you explain it’s demographics to a stupid 10 year old?

Northern Ireland has already exceeded pre-Famine population by almost 300k, but Ireland is a million away from reaching pre-Famine levels.
