If an Algerian sees this what do you guys call them in Arabic because I don’t know and was trying to figure it out a few weeks ago

      غجري او روما؟

    2. So what does the colours mean exactly? Why do you post a map without the legend?

    3. Wish the map included how many of them speak the rom/romani language. But still, interesting map.

The actual number is higher in almost all European countries. Furthermore, most Roma do not identify themselves as such in censuses (in countries where they exist).

I don’t think they consider themselves Romani by the time they get to America. I haven’t heard of Romani communities in USA

Lots of Gypsies here in Argentina. Sadly they are known for thieves.

Weird that a bunch of indian travelers made it to mexico, brasil, and Argentina.

    8. They’re present in Central America as well and Colombia too. Maybe just in smaller numbers.

My dad used to call them „Hungarians“.

European “America is so racist. You all just can get along as humans”

America “What about the treatment of Romani people in Europe?”

European “Thats not racism. They’re not people.”

Actual conversation I’ve had in Europe. Everyone is a little bit racist.

What’s going on in Angola? Im guessing the Portuguese were involved but why isnt there a sizable Roma community in Mozambique too?
