Wish the map included how many of them speak the rom/romani language. But still, interesting map.

The actual number is higher in almost all European countries. Furthermore, most Roma do not identify themselves as such in censuses (in countries where they exist).

I don’t think they consider themselves Romani by the time they get to America. I haven’t heard of Romani communities in USA

I have heard that there’s many in Slovakia.
Lots of Gypsies here in Argentina. Sadly they are known for thieves.
Weird that a bunch of indian travelers made it to mexico, brasil, and Argentina.
They’re present in Central America as well and Colombia too. Maybe just in smaller numbers.
My dad used to call them „Hungarians“.
