Interesting map idea. Is that 1M for the Fraser River basin in British Columbia? An under-count on that one.

The Ganga river basin or the Gangetic plains have more population than the entire Europe or US & South America combined

Interesting. There are no 100M+ basins in the Americas or Europe. But there are rivers that I don’t know with almost 100M people in India, as much as Danube the biggest in Europe.
