Interesting map idea. Is that 1M for the Fraser River basin in British Columbia? An under-count on that one.
The Ganga river basin or the Gangetic plains have more population than the entire Europe or US & South America combined
Interesting. There are no 100M+ basins in the Americas or Europe. But there are rivers that I don’t know with almost 100M people in India, as much as Danube the biggest in Europe.
What’s going on in the red river delta? Surely there must be at least 20 million people there. Is it being split up by its different distributaries?
