voted blue down ballot in VA. fingers crossed for good news. 2024 blew a lifetime of hope for me though

As an upstater, I’m hoping Zohran will wipe the floor with the other candidates by a massive landslide.

„I couldn’t vote for him, he’s too socialist, too liberal. His ideas sound good but they’re too hard. Cuomo was just so good during covid“

Actual voter to the NYT. We’re so fucked

    5. This will be the first election in my life where I don’t vote. I filled out my ballot, put it in the mail envelope but realized I filled it out completely wrong. I wish I had time to get a new one. Broke my heart to tear it all up and recycle it. I’m praying the results aren’t decided by one vote.

I’d say don’t panic, but it’s an election thread full of bots, trolls and anxious redditors no matter what the final results, so at this point I’ll just say good luck guys.

    7. Let’s go 50! Clap clap clapclapclap.

Sorry. I’ve been watching too much California baseball.

PA Judges, VA trifecta, and NY Mayor are my primary watches tonight. Voted to retain in PA today and feeling good about it!

If you are of voting age in NYC, haven’t voted yet and you currently aren’t busy, get off of fucking Reddit and go vote!

Now! ***STOP FUCKING READING THIS AND DO IT!***

The only thing I’m disappointed in regarding the elections is that we won’t get to see more of Mamdani and Sliwa dogpiling on Cuomo

    13. These exit polls are kinda bizarre. Tax is the top concern and 62% think their financial situation is fine for NJ?

    14. RandoUserlolidk on

      Predictions for tonight (moderate republican):

      NY: Mamdani wins, not close
      VA: Spanberger by 5-10%
CA: Prop 50 passes by 10-20%
      NJ: Sherill wins by 0-2%

When do the votes from Kentucky start being counted for the election of Mayor of NYC? /s

    16. Just voted in Bucks County PA and I was shocked by how many people were there. Comparable to the mid terms. I’ll be interested to see the results.

NYT: *Kentucky’s Republican secretary of state, Michael Adams, has reminded residents of his state that they cannot, in fact, vote in today’s New York City mayor’s race — or at all. Perhaps because of intense election coverage by national news outlets, Kentucky officials were getting calls about the polls being closed. But Kentucky has no elections scheduled today.*

*“Kentucky votes next year,” Adams wrote in a social media post. “You cannot vote today in Kentucky for the mayor of New York City or the Governor of Virginia. Sorry.”*

      Jesus Christ, Kentucky.
