      What he means is that he holds a considerable stake in a private equity fund that’ll buy their farms for pennies when they go bankrupt. He’s a farmer of farms.

      Somebody needs to tell him that just because he bought up a ton of bankrupt farmland on the cheap does not make him a farmer.

      All these asshats should come work for a day on a family farm. Be it a grain operation or cattle farm, come find out what work truly is. Doubt they could make it an hour

      I can imagine what a soybean farmer would think about his statement. However, i have very little pity for the plight of the soybean farmer currently.

      All these idiot farmers voted against their own self interests because of the „trans“ agenda and their Christian values. I think the hardest thing to do as a parent right now is teaching my kids how to spot bullshit propaganda and how to not fall for it.

      I grow rye and harvest it and put it in a trash can every week.  Rye makes for great lawns. 

      I get the farners tax break for this.

      Remember that „farmers“ are in fact rich business owners.

      They love to market themselves as working class but they aren’t. Their employees are.

      Thise big farm equipments cost hundreds of k or millions. Their land is worth millions etc. They have owned valuable land for generations and privately they’re rich.

      They voted for trump knowing he would do tarrifs. They expect a bail out.

      They voted for the tax cuts in for the rich such as themselves.

      Yeah, a farmer in that he probably owns a farm or owns shares in an investment company that owns a farm. Nothing remotely close to having done any meaningful farm work a day, let alone multiple days in his life
