No. Nope. I wouldn’t trust Davies or Irving Shipyards with building a canoe let alone a submarine. This is in conjunction with their lack of experience in building hulls that need to withstand the pressures of submerging.

No there couldn’t. We can’t build ships without fucking it up, I would be terrified sending our sailors I to the deep with a home made submarine.
