Increasing military expenditures to meet NATO spending targets that also create Canadian jobs and gain expertise need to be prioritized. Partnering with our European allies in mutually beneficial arrangements is great.
No. Nope. I wouldn’t trust Davies or Irving Shipyards with building a canoe let alone a submarine. This is in conjunction with their lack of experience in building hulls that need to withstand the pressures of submerging.
No there couldn’t. We can’t build ships without fucking it up, I would be terrified sending our sailors I to the deep with a home made submarine.
It would only be fair if the sailors then received hazard pay and additional life insurance for serving on a Canadian built submarine
