A lot of people don’t care, and they won’t until it directly affects them. By then, it will be too late to do anything about it.

    2. Exactly as intended. The question is, when hardworking blue collar GOP voters lose access to healthcare will they correctly assign responsibility and blame to the GOP?

Can’t wait for my Trump-voting boomer mom to call me and tell me about how much Medicare sucks. As if she hasn’t voted for it to suck her entire life.

Oh, you mean the one program they *swore* they would never cut? Should we replay their political ads non-stop?? They probably made it more complicated while they were at it. Fockers

Mindlessly cruel and thieving republicans give 1.5 trillion dollars to their donors from the us taxpayers pockets, set to balloon in collateral costs and kill and bankrupt millions so trump can give the treasury to himself.

Your parents’ and grandparents’ bank accounts will be drained and everything they have will be sold and spent on exorbitant healthcare costs in later age, their lifetime of hard work used only to fatten the already obscenely large accounts of the oligarchy through the increased shareholder value that feeds on the misery of the 99%.

If this affects my mom, I will laugh and laugh, she voted for this shit. Let her MAGA hat wearing ass suffer the consequences. I’ve lost all sympathy for them all.

Remember when they screamed at Biden during the state of the union when he said republicans want to cut Medicaid and Medicare?

    9. I have family who are healthcare workers who work in rural areas with an aging and/or lower income population. You can guess who most of them voted for. I’m waiting for how long it will take for one of them to actually admit that maybe, just maybe, they made a mistake.

    10. I don’t even think most people know the difference, and just use it interchangeably. Just „government Healthcare bad“

Bye bye Boomers. You voted for this!
They just didn’t seem to understand that they were being seen as the problem. Boomers were viewed to be overloading the system, and a drain on society.
Y’all can thank Trump when your friends and family start dying off due to lack of care. And you can send him an extra special thank you when you have to make the choice between your medications or a can of cat food for dinner.

      Whelp.

      That’s horrible.

      $500 billion from Medicare.

Looks like grams and gramps time has’t com’th.

I have a grandfather who’s a big Trump supporter who’s on medicaire living in a nursing home until he is depleted of his proceeds from house sale, from which medicaid takes over. He’s going to sadly get the rude awakening that he voted for but probably blame Biden.

I’m on medicaid also so this bill sucks.

    14. And most of the cuts will not go into affect till after the midterms so they don’t have to take the blame

    15. A lot of elders voted for Trump, they should be happy that they are getting what they voted for.

    16. I’m glad I live in California. Have fun getting fucked by your choices red states.

If you voted for Kamala and are in a red state. I’m so sorry.

    17. “Why didn’t the democrats do more to prevent this.”

      -boomer bootlickers probably

    18. Way too many people who voted for this believe the lie that only people who are abusing it and don’t actually need it will be kicked off.

The fun part will come when it becomes apparent to them, on an extremely personal level, that billionaires view everyone as not actually needing it, and thus abusing it, because we have the option to just die if we can’t afford massive medical bills.

“I told you once that I was searching for the nature of evil. I think I’ve come close to defining it: a lack of empathy. It’s the one characteristic that connects all the defendants. A genuine incapacity to feel with their fellow man. Evil, I think, is the absence of empathy.”

I think its only fair that they check the voter registration of every single person who voted for trump and when they personally kick them off of their healthcare they get a personalized message saying „you voted for this, congrats“

    21. I’m hoping desperation after losing healthcare is enough to finally light a fire under people. I know plenty of Trump voters will find a way to claim Democrats are to blame, but there does seem to be some of them finally realizing.

Desperation leads to unrest. Which is what we need. Mass unrest and civil disobedience.

    22. TransiTorri on

Make no mistake, they have sentenced millions, yes millions, of Americans to death today.

And they’re cheering as they do it.

    23. Trump-voting boomers will ultimately lose their Medicare. They thought the bill would just effect the poors on Medicaid.

    24. Strange_Ebb_5309 on

I watch so many people saying they needed to make democrats pay because of Gaza, now look at state of affairs. All this virtue signaling and all these morally superior people did was screw everyone that now white and well off. They wasted all that time being offended about Kamala and Liz Cheney for what? Stupidest people I’ve ever seen.

    25. It’s funny how Trump seems to reflexively want to cut anything with the word ‚aid‘ or ‚care‘ in it lol…

    26. I do hope that companies that have no choice but to lay people off fire the Trump supporters first. That is fair.

    27. Good. Fuck all those boomers on Medicare that voted Trump. Maybe now they’ll finally realize.

    28. Many seniors will die before impacted, or rather will die because they’re impacted.

More seniors voted for Trump than against him, therefore, don’t come crying now – you literally voted for it. Fortunately, the red states will be getting kicked in the nuts first, with trickle down ball busters for the blue states.

Obligatory message for Texas and Florida: 🖕

Looks like the GOP are trying to kill off anyone who they couldn’t murder with covid.

    30. Democrats need to tie this to social security. How this is a trial run to see how voters react.
