I have family who are healthcare workers who work in rural areas with an aging and/or lower income population. You can guess who most of them voted for. I’m waiting for how long it will take for one of them to actually admit that maybe, just maybe, they made a mistake.

I have a grandfather who’s a big Trump supporter who’s on medicaire living in a nursing home until he is depleted of his proceeds from house sale, from which medicaid takes over. He’s going to sadly get the rude awakening that he voted for but probably blame Biden.
I’m on medicaid also so this bill sucks.
And most of the cuts will not go into affect till after the midterms so they don’t have to take the blame

I’m hoping desperation after losing healthcare is enough to finally light a fire under people. I know plenty of Trump voters will find a way to claim Democrats are to blame, but there does seem to be some of them finally realizing.
