Appalling.
Just to inform you, Tacan Reynar, a former Senior Judge/ Lawyer was one of the men there. He’s a young well-spoken respected Turkish Cypriot. In the full clip, he’s seen explaining calmly to the police that it’s their constitutional right to protest peacefully against the Turkish dominance.
Didn’t seem to have an effect… because police intervened.
The difference between TC’s and Turks and GC’s and Greeks since 74 is that Turks want to control and rule the TC’s whereas since the junta fell the Greeks are hands off and treat GC’s as the separate state that they are; the links are voluntary, not forced
