    1. This is fucking inane…Cowards, the lot of them. If we don’t win in 2026, Democracy is dead.

When U.S. citizens suffer….the GOP wins!

      **Cruel is the rule.**

      >Republicans on the US House of Representatives’ Judiciary Committee universally voted against an amendment on Wednesday that would have prevented Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) from using federal funds to detain or deport US citizens.

      F*cking traitors

I can’t even imagine this being a real headline 10 years ago. Something like this in the news is almost impossible to imagine as reality…let alone the first 100 days into a presidency

So no due process. This is 1930’s Germany. Fun fact: It’s didn’t start with camps and gas chambers. It started with this type of shit.

There is going to be such a political price to pay for all this. Hope they are enjoying this while they can. They have lost all trust with the American people.

    7. Can we stop saying deporting?

You can’t be deported if you’re a citizen – this is exiling Americans to an El Salvadorian prison.

I’m not a citizen of another country. If I’m kicked out of the US and not allowed back I’m stateless. That’s not deportation that’s against pretty much every international initiative of the last half century. We do not participate in making Americans stateless.

      Until now apparently.

I feel like Trump’s gonna „solve“ homelessness via deportations to other countries by the end of this mess.

Republicans are enemies of the USA. Say if loud, say it often, and point to shit like this.

    10. US House Republicans vote to permit ICE deporting US citizens.

      Fixed it for you.

    11. So instead of death camps in America they just send you to another country to die.

Hmm,. seems like that second amendment is becoming more and more important by the day. I’d strongly recommend everyone to exercise their constitutionally protected rights while you still have them.

If Dems had a spine they’d shut down the Senate now. Filibuster *anything* the majority attempts to bring to the floor. Rotate members out as necessary to prevent any and all votes that require cloture. Endlessly introduce amendments on every single bill, relevant or not, saying ICE cannot deport citizens.

But they don’t, and they won’t.

    14. Kidnapping and human trafficking. They want to kidnap and human traffic US citizens.

      „Et tu, Brute?“

      – United States of America to the Republican party

    16. This is what happens when you let religious people have power. They are collectively too stupid to think independently so they’ll happily believe the bullshit they’re told.

    17. „Deportation“ is when you send someone back to the country they’re a legal citizen of.

So where are they sending the US citizens? Wisconsin?

If they mean sending them to another country to rot in prison, that’s not deportation. That’s just kidnapping and wrongful imprisonment.

    18. I don’t understand this. While the bill, if passed, would have explicitly prohibited federal funds from being used to deport et al. US citizens, isn’t it illegal/unconstitutional to do so already? How can the government deport US citizens if they are citizens of the US? Maybe if a person has dual citizenship it could make sense (not ethically speaking of course), but what if a person only has citizenship in the US? Like how can you deport them? To where? On what legal grounds?

    19. It’s ironic that the United States no longer welcomes immigrants because they are all criminals yet we’re going to deport our very own citizens to other countries. We are a joke.

The Republican party is complicit in Trump’s crimes. They are rubber stamping everything.

    21. Sure_Quality5354 on

Correction: every single republican voted against the CONSTITUTION which guarantees a right to due process for all citizens.

I’m actually shocked the headline didn’t say “ Democrats failed to push forward their woke agenda“ or something stupid like that.

    23. Just a few weeks ago, maggots were calling us delusional for thinking Trump would deport citizens. How many times will they contradict themselves before realizing they’re the delusional ones who would still support trump if he stomped on a baby’s head. Trump is doing everything they claimed they don’t support, and instead of holding him accountable, they just blame minorities and gay people.
