What normal people aready knew…brain damage, whether it’s CTE, a stroke, worm eating brains, etc… is synonymous with conservatism, Republicanism, MAGAism.

This is disturbing but as a retired RN I’m not surprised. So many negative after effects from brain injury are only seen by the family and those closest to the affected person. It rings true to me reading it. I don’t think this is a case of disgruntled staffers. It’s tragic. I donated money and voted for him. If true it is gutting for his family and all of us that supported John.

In the back seat? That’s….odd.
It’s very unfortunate but I think regardless if he’s acting conservative or if he has kept his progressive promises, I think he deserved a chance at recovery but we now need open and honest medical records and an assessment and removal from office if reporting is confirmed.
ideally they’d let him take the senate pension (which it sounds like hes gonna need) and get him to resign. but I could easily see, if he is even partially rational, wanting to serve out the full term to qualify for that pension
When you get a TBI it literally changes your brain. You can develop a different personality and suffer from memory problems.

I contend that this proves that all those that go conservative as they age, and become complete ignorant assholes, are actually suffering from brain damage.
His term isn’t up until 2028 but now’s a good time to find candidates to primary him.

If anyone actually has bothered to read the reporting on this it is /really/ bad and goes way beyond politics.
What I get from this is that conservatism comes from brain damage.
This is really sad. I was hopeful that Fetterman would be a great new and unique voice for the dems and progressive values but it seems like that is not the case. The people of Pennsylvania deserve a Senator in full control of their faculties. This whole thing is really tragic and I hope Fetterman can be pressured to step down without too much drama.
Besides, having a new election in Pennsylvania would be good for the democrats to cut their teeth on a post Trump 2.0 high profile race. Test out messaging in a swing state etc. This environment should be beneficial to dems as well since they tend to perform better in off year/ special elections now than republicans.

I hate that he didn’t pan out to be the candidate people wanted him to be but I hate more the stain he is going to leave for people with depression, disabilities and or brain injuries serving in government in the future.
Facts: Many people with frontal lobe dementia and many styles of strokes do indeed become aggressive, show lack of empathy, lack of critical thinking, and exhibit narcissistic behavior.
Kinda crazy how he has a seizure, is basically brain dead, and then all of a sudden started supporting republican agenda. Makes you wonder if the criteria to be a republican is to be brain dead. Seems like it
