The goal of a wall or other barrier isn’t to make it impossible. Nothing is impossible. It’s to make it way more difficult.
There’s a principle in counseling: if you can’t say no, you can’t say yes. Not being able to say no to those who want to cross means we can’t say yes to those who deserve to be welcomed in.
The federal government weighing in on this topic is sort of disingenuous because politicians in Washington DC are hardly even affected by this whatsoever. They are thousands of miles away from the problem.
Texas is the state that deals with the ramifications of this the most. The federal government should have never told Texas they can’t do something. As it is, cartels are building bases in Texas.
