Ich habe nach dem Zufallsprinzip auf Google Street View -Bilder der Grenzen Russlands mit der EU gesucht und habe diese seltsame estnische Straße kurz durch das russische Territorium bemerkt, und ich frage mich, was ihre Geschichte ist. Wurde das kleine Stück Land später nach 1991 von Russland beansprucht? Ist die Straße heute auch geöffnet? Benötigen Sie einen Pass, wenn Sie es verwenden möchten? Ich bin wirklich neugierig. Dank im Voraus!

I believe you are allowed to use it but never to change direction or move off the road
There’s no border control there. You can cross it via car. It’s not allowed to stop or cross it by foot. There are warning signs about it.

It is because of the border between ESSR and RFSSR. You can cross it only using a motorized vehicle, no stopping allowed. There are warning signs around and the area is monitored by the border guards. You don’t need a passport though.
Nothing spectacular to see there. I drove through (actually, there are 2 strips of road going through russia) that last summer. Some warning signs, cameras, and that’s pretty much it. No border patrol or anything. There’s were rumours that the Estonian government would build another road, avoiding those parts. Still wouldn’t fuck around there, because finding out wouldn’t be nice. Just follow the rules, and you will be fine.
Edit: locals living in that area don’t even notice it. Just drive through, and that’s that.
I wonder what will happen if my car abruptly breaks down in the middle of the road.
FYI, they’re planning/discovering a way to build a bypass for the existing road (source: [ERR](https://news.err.ee/1609681280/saatse-boot-bypass-construction-proving-more-difficult-than-expected)).
