We need to protect our students our literal future leaders and educators. Contact your reps, don’t stay complacent!!
That is something you will not hear a republican say.
As history has shown, the responsibility of condemning human rights violations and unjust actions disproportionately falls on the young, especially students. Democratic leadership has to stop pearl clutching and fight back as fierce as they can. And yes, that includes corporate buyouts like Schumer and Jeffries.
It is sad and pathetic when a foreign born student has a thousand times greater understanding of and respect for the central pillars of our Constitution than anyone in the Republican party–least of all the senile, sociopathic imbecile leading it.

I’m glad Mahdawi was freed, and his attitude is empowering. Not claiming he is one, but that’s the attitude of a political leader and I wish there were more of them in this country.
