Those agents need to be arrested. Stealing and not even at the correct address.

It’s that how easy it’s become to break into a house, pretend to be ICE, steal their shit, and leave without facing any consequences

    3. 2_Spicy_2_Impeach on

Shocked they didn’t shoot or deport anyone regardless of citizenship.

    4. Competency matters, people’s lives matter. They’re firing people who do their jobs and can’t do their’s.

Is this what unleashing the police looks like?

This story really should be much better known. There is so much disgusting parts to it. They should be in jail true, but this also includes sexual crimes involving minors. From a different article about the same incident:

“I keep asking them, ‘Who are you? What are you doing here? What’s happening?’” Marisa said. “And they said, ‘We have a warrant for the house, a search warrant.’”

She said the agents then ordered her and her daughters outside into the rain before they could even put on clothes.

“They wanted me to change in front of all of them, in between all of them,” she said. “My husband has not even seen my daughter in her undergarments — her own dad, because it’s respectful. You have her out there, a minor, in her underwear.”

    6. All part of the plan. If you want loyal enforcers for tyranny, then you won’t do any better than cretinous bigots previously prevented from acting on all their worst impulses, who’ve just been told „I’ll let you get away with anything, so long as your victims aren’t ‚important'“. Citizen or immigrant doesn’t matter – getting to act like this whenever they feel like it is their reward.

      These are US citizens.

Every US citizen, myself included, needs to understand something: **Stop looking at how this government is treating people and thinking „It can’t happen to me.“**

      * ICE raided this US citizen family’s home by mistake, and still hasn’t given back their money and possessions.
      * They’ve detained US citizens by mistake. (Remember the young man in Florida who was detained for about two days even after his mom showed the judge his birth certificate? That’s just one example. Another US citizen was held for almost ten days, falsely accused of being an illegal immigrant.)
      * They deported — and imprisoned — Kilmar Abrego Garcia by mistake. He had a judge’s order given in 2019 that said he was not allowed to be deported to El Salvador. While he isn’t a citizen, he did have a work permit. If he can be deported and imprisoned in El Salvador despite the fact that he was legally protected from being sent there, how does being a citizen protect you from anything?

And I know some people say „These aren’t really mistakes.“ Whether these actions were honest mistakes or deliberate decisions, the point is that there’s nothing stopping the government from falsely accusing, detaining, and even deporting US citizens. They can do whatever they want to you, then say „Oops, it was a mistake!“ afterward, and there’s no accountability. Well I hope I’m wrong about no accountability, but we’ll see.

    8. Stories like this remind me of the time I met my state senator and asked her to reconsider the qualified immunity law enforcement exploits. Her response was basically that people like the police and it wouldn’t be possible to hold them accountable. I’m definitely going to bring this up next time I see her.

    9. This is a very disturbing story. After seeing and reading about many of these arrest I think congress needs to have oversight investigations as to who the people doing the arrest really are. The victims in this story said they saw US Marshall and FBI insignias, but both agencies said they weren’t involved. There needs to be some transparency as to who these agent are.

    10. When your own president and ruling party don’t have any accountability for their misconducts and crimes, it trickles down to the lowest form of authority.

These ICE agents will only get bolder being empowered by your clown government.
Vote a criminal in office, expect a lawlessness.

    11. Soon they’ll be yanking gold teeth and shaving heads to make army blankets and socks

    12. >In Oklahoma City Thursday, about 20 federal immigration agents raided the wrong home,

Assigning 20 agents to a low-risk job like this then screwing up the whole operation by getting the wrong home is really the height of government wastefulness and incompetence.

Remember when people where chanting Abolish ICE since Trump’s first term, and both Republican and Democrat politicians labeled them as left wing extremists…Pepperidge Farms remembers.

Americans have been warned about the power of “law enforcement” for decades.

    15. Buttfulloffucks on

The next administration, hopefully Dem led, should go after every ICE agent that made himself available for these raids. They’ve shown the have no qualms breaking the law nor ignoring court orders.

    16. Weird, I was told this was „fake news“ since it was not getting more attention…

    17. techcore2023 on

Our right to bare arms and protect our homes is the most fundamental right under constitution every American man woman and child arm your selves the Republican Party and rapist in chief are using ice fbi and Marshalls to go after every American and kick down your door

    18. JFC. So now they are just stealing money from citizens with ZERO repercussions.

      That’s a gang.

    19. 50 yrs from now descendants will be suing for family treasures looted by MAGA. If things go well and turn around if not they’ll be looking for our remains in the walls of the New Biggliest “TRUMP Colosseum” …. Either way we’re screwed but we can do things to give our kids a chance.

    20. America wtf have you done to yourselves…watching this as a Brit from across the pond.

    21. obelix_dogmatix on

Real question – how do we know they were ICE and not robbers disguised as ICE?

    22. Temporary_Lab_3964 on

Certain kind of people become law enforcement and right now this is their time to “shine”. Fuck them.

    23. This was in my area of town and everyone needs to watch the interview with the victim. This article is not doing this story justice. Plus our local station needs to see traffic on the right kinds of stories. Notice too, the side bar of terrible stories bought by the voters of every county in this state. If the message is getting through even here then I have hope even Trump voters are starting come to terms with their actions.

I am legitimately curious, has this happened to some fully blooded Caucasian white family yet, or is it all brown people?

Has it happened to Americans without an accent, people who clearly have lived here since they were born?

I’m not asking this to be adversarial, but just out of a personal curiosity.

Two words: Second Amendment? If that happens a few times with an unlawful entering of one’s domain, things are gonna change. Probably not for the better, but things will change.

I don’t even have to make comparisons, I just like leaving some history lessons behind so that people can do that for themselves: https://encyclopedia.ushmm.org/content/en/article/aryanization

    27. MonarchMagnetic on

The policy will end with someone reiterating their 2nd amendment rights at ICE agents a few times.

    28. These fuckers are going to get shot. It’s only a matter of time at this point.

    29. Rattus-NorvegicUwUs on

I can see home invasions happening where thieves pose as ICE agents. Iirc there was already a case of some nutjob trying to kidnap “illegals” (anyone who looks ‘funny’ to him) while pretending to be ice

If they don’t have a warrant, or identify themselves, how the hell am I supposed to know if I’m under attack by non-state backed criminals?

    30. So… burglary with a splash of assault?

Law enforcement out here criminaling better than criminals
