The European Union, according to European commissioner Jozef Sikela, is offering concessions to Donald Trump’s administration to bring back economic stability. He said that he was „confident“ in there being common sense for the two to come to common deals, warning that a trade conflict would do more conflict to the US than the EU. This comes amidst Trump’s accusations of the EU taking advantage of the US. Sikela felt that the US pulling back from international development, including in the global south, was „unfortunate“ and would open door to China for influence.

If our current leaders bend the knee to USA, I will never vote for them again. We’ve been a vassal of USA long enough. We have the means, the technology and the funds to be independent. They are bowing down just out of habit.
