    1. In an interview with ABC News, President Donald Trump seemed to think that a picture that superimposed the letters and numbers M S 1 3 on the knuckles of Kilmar Abrego Garcia was real.

“He had ‘M,’ ‘S’ as clear as you can be,“ Trump said. “‘M,’ ‘S,’ ‘one,’ ‘three.’ It says ‘M,’ ‘S,’ ‘one,’ ‘three.’“

    2. Let’s ignore the photo and focus on the fact that they deported someone without due process because of *really scary* tattoos.

What a complete moron. I’m actually surprised this nimrod admitted to such a terrible thing

Checking the incompetence box for the 478th time and nothing will change. This outcome was made possible once America accepted lying as character trait and abandoned Secondary questions and fact checking.

    5. -Poliwrath- on

The bigger issue is that he admitted he could pick up the phone and have Garcia returned. He’s admitting to ignoring the Supreme Court.

    6. coatofforearm on

Holy shit I had not actually seen the picture until today and even that low resolution copy of the picture on this post you can tell that isn’t a real tattoo just based on the real ones below the letters they added lol wtf Iol

    7. Whoever put the text on that photo and showed it to Donald needed to explain it to him.

    8. ShakeyLegsMcGee on

Holy underwear! Sheriff murdered! Innocent women and children blown to bits! We have to protect our phoney baloney jobs here, gentlemen!

    9. He actually thought the „ms13“ on the picture was real? I thought it was to explain the individual tattoos like marijuana leaf stands for „M“ etc.

    10. GlobalDynamicsEureka on

My sister said the tattoos were literally MS13, also. They must be watching the same stuff.

    11. BaconHammer9000 on

trump is a weak and feeble old man, easily influenced by AI and Photoshop’ed images his cabinet feeds him.

      MAGA worships a puppet king.

    12. He knew that the whole time. Makes that interview even more all alarming… his brazen ability to lie about something so obvious.

    13. TheBoosThree on

Wasn’t he deported before the picture? I thought the administration photoshopped the picture after this became a national story to post-facto justify the deportation.

    14. Night-Spirit on

Funny how he was soo 100% sure in that interview with ABC. But now oops my bad someone gave me the wrong photo

    15. PunfullyObvious on

OMGosh! Those were labels! That makes so much more sense than someone actually trying to pass the letters|numbers off as a real tattoo.

Trump was fooled by it and has been peddling it as real for ages. That is ridiculous. But, even more ridiculous is that none of his handlers|puppetmasters bothered to correct him. That’s absolutely damning. Clearly he’s a buffoon and not really in control of anything, or even, it seems, in the loop.

    16. blackmobius on

Well he thought that drawing on the map would change the direction the hurricane would go. So this is par for the course for him

    17. Deported because of his tattoos, one of which is a crucifix. Where’s the anti-Christian bias task force when you need them?

    18. WaffleBlues on

I wouldn’t be surprised if they have El Salvador forcefully tattoo the guy so that orange turd isn’t wrong.

    19. RoamingDrunk on

That can’t be true because the photo didn’t exist until they made it after the fact as a pretext. He’s just rambling and saying shit.

    20. veganparrot on

I like this kind of news coverage. He didn’t *actually* formally admit anything, but it is an „admission“ of being misled by the wrong photo, because we can see plain as day that those numbers *are not* actually there.

      >“Don’t do that,” Trump said after being corrected. “‘M,’ ‘S,’ ‘one,’ ‘three.’ It says ‘M,’ ‘S,’ ‘one,’ ‘three.’”

We don’t need any WH team or professional to certify that the above statement *admits* that wrong picture is being referenced.

    21. He’s talked to the wife hasn’t he?

The thing is Trump is soft as babyshit. He has to be isolated, lied to, and coddled.

Miller would laugh in her face if she was crying in front of him.

Trump would be mortified and be visibly uncomfortable.

Before Jan 2016, I saw in an interview trump talking about pics of dead bodies he saw in documents he got from Obama’s transition team. Only time I can recall the dude breaking character and looking like he felt something.

Point is Trump can’t actually handle the awfulness of the reality he creates if exposed to it.

    22. Why is the President of the United States of America making decisions on a single deportation? Micromanaging the hate, I guess.

    23. As a Canadian, with a bad accent cause native French, with a lots of skulls and creepy tattoos cause i am a horror movie geek. Im getting scared to visit USA now

    24. This title is misleading. Trump had nothing to do with Garcia’s deportations specifically. They just swept up a bunch of people without really giving a shit about reasons. They already admitted they should not have.

The picture is being used as their justification after the fact.

    25. Lepidopteria on

He could have I AM A GANGBANGER tattooed across his forehead and it was still an illegal „deportation.“

    26. Perndog8439 on

Dementia Don doubled down on that picture in front of the world. That’s like shitting in your hand and clapping.

    27. I kind of believe him that he thinks they were real. What’s scary about this is there are players with a dark agenda manipulating trump. Don’t get me wrong he’s a big ol’ bigot himself but it goes to show that just replacing Trump isn’t going to solve this problem. We can’t just elect a Democrat like Biden and go back to business as normal there needs to be massive reforms.

    28. DailyShowerCry on

Show me a known ms13 gang member with these tattoos on his knuckles along with his most assuredly large letters on his body.

Now shoe Mr Garcias tattoos on his knuckles against the rest on his body.

      Compare A to B

From what I can gather, most gang members are pretty blatant with their gang affiliation.

Should be an easy thing to defend or not.

    29. Sac-vs-Everybody on

Trump soon to pretend he didn’t think M-S-1-3 was actually tattooed on the hand. More gaslighting to come!

    30. Pale-Berry-2599 on

What a loser. Turf this idiot wanna be dictator. He’s a bad (media) drug habit. Drop him or you’ll be worse off in the near future.

    31. snakenakedsnakeboss on

“Ok so it says m s 1 3 right on the picture”

“Sir we added that to guess at what those tattoos below might mean. “

“But I see it right there”

“Yes… we added that for clarification”

“So it’s in the picture for clarity.

      “Yes sir”

      To the press-

“It’s clear as day he has m s 13 on his hand”

This dude doesn’t understand computers/photoshop etc. he is an old man. He thought sharpie on the hurricane map was the same as real data.

Honestly this is reminding me a lot of sharpiegate, since we know -he- didn’t draw the sharpie circle, some sycophant did and said “why, you’re right sir, look at this!”

    32. the_windless_sea on

AI is the greatest tool you could ever give an authoritarian government. . They can now make up anything they want, claim it as evidence, do whatever they want to you, and then simply refuse to acknowledge any argument to the contrary. We are at this very moment living in a dystopia and it will get so much worse before most people wake up and realize it.

    33. all i take from this is if you can spin something and have any „graphics,“ turnip willl go anywhere.

    34. BeKindBabies on

You also cannot deport people bc of tattoos, gang or otherwise. Piss poor argument. Trial, there must always be due process.

    35. „We don’t need real reasons to detain or deport you – see how we can just make them up, admit they were lies, and you’ll still be stuck in a hellhole prison with no way out.“

This is all to intimidate the rest of us.

    36. SouthHovercraft4150 on

Are we going to ignore the fact that this interviewer is laying softballs and trying to save Trump from his own stupidity by trying to move the conversation somewhere else rather than focusing in on this clear mistake? It comes across from some people that this interviewer got Trump to show how stupid he is, but in reality the interviewer is trying to save Trump from looking stupid and failed at that.

    37. anynamesleft on

No, he didn’t admit the picture wasn’t real, but insisted the photoshopped elements were real.

      C’mon, truth means something.
