Jedes Mal, wenn ich nach Georgia gegangen bin, bin ich immer beeindruckt von der bloßen Bande der Kirchen, es ist ziemlich beeindruckend und sie sind so hübsch! Ich muss jedoch fragen, warum so viele von ihnen fast genau gleich aussehen? Ich bin nicht abfällig, ich finde es tatsächlich sehr charmant am Land. Gab es nur einen Prefab -Blaupause, den jemand vor langer Zeit gemacht hat, und sie haben sich einfach damit gemacht, den Bauprozess zu vereinfachen? Ich konnte darauf keine Antwort finden.

The use of regional materials, along with specific construction techniques, contributed to the uniform appearance of many churches across the country.
Georgian churches stick to strict architectural rule, there’s barely any flexibility. The Orthodox Church in general tries to stay true to its original roots in everything. Meanwhile, the Catholic Church is more open to change, which is why you see so many different styles. Gotta say though, Gothic architecture is hands down one of the most beautiful things humanity has ever created.
