Hallo! Ich bin gerade im Urlaub in Lettland in der Nähe von Riga. Ich und meine Freundin befanden sich im Kemeru -Park, in dem sich der Parkplatz befindet. Es war eine späte Stunde, da war sonst niemand und wir dachten, dass der Parkplatz kostenlos ist. Bis wir eine Parkausstattung für 25 € erhielten. Es ist nicht so "Operator" Wird uns uns kontaktieren, um das Ticket zu parken, wenn wir es nicht bezahlen?

This is a company with the sole purpose to service parking, and yes, issue tickets. I think they would go bankrupt if they would not do anything about people not paying it.
Also yes, it is legal. If you park somewhere where the parking is paid, you enter into a contract, and you are liable to pay the penalty if you do not fulfill your end of the contract.
So depends on how far away from you are, these guys do chase you and try to collect debts, but they aren’t the actual police so there’s that, take it for what you will. I know that EuroPark has some recognition and power within the Baltic’s and can reach you, these guys .. if you’re willing to gamble, let us know how it works out.
