I honestly don’t see myself being able to afford buying a house in the next 20 years. all i want is to build a small family with a house and a backyard, this will cost me at least 800KEUR.

Makes no sense. The average home in Luxembourg is not 1.2B. Even the most homeless could not afford a home here if they were 20% the price. Go talk to homeless. Most have never owned or rented in Luxembourg.
