I think we shouldn’t underestimate his ability to act recklessly just out of personal spite. He has no boundaries on his behavior. He never thinks he’s wrong. He’s dangerous, and we should never let our guards down.

While it is true that everything ends, if you wait long enough, let’s not pretend there’s not a long line of assholes standing behind Trump waiting for their turn to come. The idea of „Just hang in there and everything will snap back to normal“ breeds complacency and acceptance.
What’s likely to bring Trump down is the catastrophic effect his actions are going to have on the US economy. There’s evidence already that the world is no longer seeing the US as a safe haven for their money and starting to put it elsewhere. Combine that with a complete breakdown in trade with other countries – China, obviously, but other countries deciding not to spend their money with authoritarian bullies who threaten and betray them, plus widespread redundancies, directly from DOGE but indirectly from delayed or re-directed investments – and you have a perfect storm that will likely push the US into a deep recession.

The only way we can prevent an eventual full acceptance and understanding that we are led by one man, a dictatorship, in a strict, get your ass in line, fascist type of way, is to have a country wide general strike.
The Trump administration is actively living in an alternate reality of facts and truths from what society has grown to be. They are changing reality and truths for all of us. Everyone has to start to understand that and basically protest everything. Fight for the reality that we’ve grown up in and want to continue in.

He might as well be comforting us with assurances of the inevitable heat death of our universe.
The thing I’m looking forward to is that most of his corporate fluffing, racist, hateful effects that he has had on our government are all via EO. When he’s removed from office via whatever means, the next president can at least make some large steps by trashing a few hundred of Trumps illegal EOs.

That’s an extremely optimistic view. Most likely he will die through his poor health and a new dictator will take over. Or if it happens later one of his sons becomes the new king or president but a Kim like version so a king by another name.
