    1. The students are literally becoming the teachers. Partners of complicit firms should be ashamed of themselves. Merely posing as officers of the law

    2. Great. My smallish company uses one of those firms and I’m doing everything I can to make sure they don’t see another cent for caving/sucking Trump.

Love it. May I suggest a graphics designer get involved to make it a bit more easily readable.

    4. Don’t ever let people tell you that you are powerless. Look at how much impact a small group of law students have had against these giant law firms.

Prospective Client: If you’re not even going to fight for yourselves, why would I believe you would fight for me?

Prospective Employee: This field is tough enough being full of scoundrels and micro-managers and big egos and long hours, why would I also want to work for spineless cowards?

    6. You *do not* want to be an employee working for the Trump administration. And that includes working in a low level, low paid, high time commitment job at a firm that will assign you to work on the evil pro-bono shit the Trump administration demanded of them. You know who will be the ones assigned to sue a local librarian for stocking an LGBTQ + friendly book? Your ass. Putting your law license and reputation at risk that early in your career is a huge fucking mistake.

    7. It’s sad that they haven’t figured out whatever Trump touches turns to dust

Okay, people are gonna want to click and read this one because that headline is terrible and hard to parse

Name and shame works. They’re not just lawyers that cave to trump, they’re representatives of their entire field caving to trump.

    10. > „It’s really hard to turn down the option of making $200,000 right out of law school, especially when I’ve only ever earned minimum wage before,“ he told Forbes, speaking anonymously and going on to reveal he refused an interview with Skadden. The firm, which capitulated to Trump’s demands, recently had a recruiting event canceled by students at Georgetown Energy Law Group.

This is what democracy looks like!

    11. The following is the number of law firms that fit into each of the 5 categories.

      Caved = 10

      Complied Early = 34

      Other Negative = 4

      Stood Against = 554

      No Response = 349

I recognize a lot of these as a paralegal. Thank God I work in a smallish firm of all democrat and mostly Jewish lawyers

    13. I don’t see Pearson Specter Litt listed, but I expect the Trump admin won’t even know what hit them until they’ve already been Litt up.

    14. What sucks is that either way, Trump wins. If you go work for or give business to the firm then they benefit even though they caved. If you boycott them then Trump gets what he wants – retribution to the firm.

    15. Can confirm, in law school and this sheet has been making the rounds. I don’t think the effects of it will really be felt until next summer though so or maybe even the one after that

    16. Devils advocate maybe all of these law firms are planning on throwing these cases. How would Trump know the difference between their best effort or a purposeful mistake that loses him all of the cases?

Could be a way to sabotage from within. Let him think he’s being taken care of and then et tu Brutus
