  1. How do you feel about the drivers knowing that this is still going for 9 months yet they don’t keep left/right

Given the state of infrastructure here I’m happy they are fixing it before it collapses.

9 months isn’t that bad for larger roadworks, I would have easily expected this to take a year or two longer. Every time I went past the last bridge repair I saw people working.

Its fine, especially when you consider that the concrete production was shut down for 6 weeks and they couldn’t finish.
Underneath they are reinforcing the old concrete, and the side walls.
Its not just a matter „none months to fix a bridge“.
Its the one road Cyprus has to get into and out of Limassol/Larnaca.

I’m more bothered about the fuckwits joining the other lane at the last second. I know it’s ok in the book etc, just think they’d be no cues if people did it earlier

The current infrastructure of the country is truly not enough to accomodate this many cars and the huge increase each year, 15 years ago perhaps it was much smoother than today but since every young adult and their mother is having the need to get a driving license and own a car, a huge upgrade to the road system is necessary.

I remember last summer traffic in the highways to the point where you would be stuck in traffic for hours and there wasnt any special roadwork, it was just a regular day in august, i had never seen that before

It’s a pain for thousands of commuters daily.

Shutting down the main highway of the country should have entailed at least a 24 hour operation to minimize disruption..
