He may be a weak and failing president but he still has control of the executive branch which is enormously powerful.
You can’t win logically with a sociopath because they’ll distort truth without remorse and feel nothing about deceiving you.
It’s actively happening right now in the USA.
It also doesn’t matter if the guy is weak if he has unchecked power in the government.
The Dems are too weak and need to be more pointed with the „attacks“. Trump doesn’t care about anything but himself, so the attacks need to be directed at what bruises his ego.
Trump may be backing off tariffs, but don’t get too comfortable—he’s shifting focus and going after public communities like Reddit. Still holding power, and still pressing hard. No time to relax.
It’s to be honest worrying to see these facts align, and despite everything, it’s… oddly comforting to see that a decent chunk of even Republicans are against withholding funding from universities, according to that Reuters/Ipsos poll, though, of course, the larger picture remains concerning, given that Trump is trailing Biden by nineteen points, a fact showed by the Economist/YouGov poll.

It’s truly shocking that we even have to question whether a leader should possess basic competence. I mean, really, the whole thing just stinks of… something… But then, you ask yourself, why are Republicans so hesitant to speak out, despite the clear signs of, well, all of this? It’s concerning to consider that they might be afraid, or just complicit. It makes you wonder what kind of compromises they’re making to stay in power, a terrifying thought, honestly. And you have to wonder what that says about the state of our democracy… what kind of message that sends. I just… ugh.

talkin‘ to you, editors at CNN, CBS, NYT, WaPo, Reuters, Politico, The Hill, Reddit mods, etc etc. Pantswetters everywhere, too. Pass the word to all Congressmen & federal judges.
Ultimately, he’s a lame duck. He’s a lame duck that’s exercising unconstitutional, overreaching power over the executive branch, but he can’t make law. He can obscure and deny law, but he’s losing across the board in the courts. Yes, in some cases they aren’t listening to the courts, but in many others they are. In a way, the lawsuits are „flooding the zone“ for this administration. They can’t possibly keep up with all of them, and their lawyers are truly terrible at their jobs.
Moreover, it seems that this admin has failed to actually build any sort of coalition in congress, so their movements on bills are very jerky and not unified. They hold extremely slim majorities and that gives a lot of power to different wings of their party, and even to democrats in their own ways.
We get closer to midterms every day, and if you really look we’re practically already in a sort of early campaign season. Democrats are trying to gather themselves to create a more unified front (you see this in efforts from AOC, Bernie, and Waltz, and others). This is the worst consumer sentiment has been in decades, and people will remember that going into midterms. The best chance for a blue wave is to pound the table on the economy and jobs. „Its the economy, stupid.“

I agree that he should be treated like the joke he is, the problem is he has committed colossal fraud while in office. We’re far past the point of just laughing at him and letting him skate away.
He needs to be sentenced, for peddling divisive propaganda, human rights violations, and fraud with his memecoin. He had committed numerous acts that would have been impeachable for any other president.
I heard some magats talking this morning and they were saying how they don’t even believe he’s orange.
They said “the fake news channels change his skin color and on Fox News he ‘looks normal’”
It was hilariously stupid. Some of these people will never be able to see reality. In their minds, everything bad about trump is a lie, even his weird spray tan.
This is why it completely floors me that everyone pretends he’s such a strong man and he’s so tough and manly. He’s a little fucking rich bitch boy who never truly worked or earned a thing in his life. He has never experienced any of the things that make a person “strong” or “tough” and he never will.

Trump is like trying to tame a feral cat that’s making a mess of everything… and is most dangerous when cornered. It’s hard to figure out a way to wrangle that menace, and we’re mostly just getting lucky it can’t really rub two brain cells together to do anything really coherently, consistently destructive.
But getting away from the feline example, lives have already been ruined by his idiocy, like those wrongly detained. Getting back on the example, the house is still a mess and the vases are all smashed anyway.

Impeachment now. Stop normalizing the immoral criminal acts of the mafia President Musk and his Kapo Trump.

More specifically, trump is weak minded.
The amount of cope in these headlines is insane.
Fascists control 2 branches of government, and the executive branch is openly ignoring the judiciary. All of the Jan. 6 rioters were pardoned. People are being extradited to concentration camps with no due process. News organizations are being sued into silence. DOD is being ran by a guy who says he would shoot protesters.
These people will be sitting in CECOT writing articles like „10 Ways Bernie Can Still Win the DNC Nomination“ and about how Trump is supposedly failing.
But hey, there’s still hope! He could get impeached a 3rd time or convicted of 34 more felonies. Then he’ll really be cooked!
He’s never been anything but. He’s Putin’s puppet, a useful idiot.
And to think just month’s ago we had the opportunity to vote for someone else and avoid this whole mess.
I love that China has not only beaten that idiot, they are continuing to humiliate him on the global stage.
