Hallo alles. Mein Großvater starb und ich habe dieses Gemälde, das er bekam, als er in Bitburg stationiert war. Mein erster Gedanke ist, dass dies eine Darstellung von Rottenburg OB der Tauber ist. Ist das richtig?

Can confirm: it’s the Greding Gate in Berching, just south of Nuremberg. Rothenburg isn’t the only place in Germany with its mediaeval defensive wall still at least partially intact; and in fact, if you prefer to avoid crowds of tourists, there are a lot of places that are just as good as Rothenburg to visit, if not better.
