Ability is not the point. Loyalty is the point. Hegseth stated that if he was in charge of the military he would have set them on the BLM protesters and Trump liked that because he was pissed the generals wouldn’t send the army against his enemies. Hegseth could post classified attacks on Twitter and Trump wouldn’t give a shit. All that matters is when he says „send in the tanks“ during protests, that Hegseth will do it.
At this point, “Hegsething” should just become a verb for f*ing things up.

I’d actually like to know why the vetting process allowed this to happen in the first place.
It seems to me that the entire process was a complete and utter failure.
